How charging works in Italy

In Italy, using public charging stations differs in some respects from Switzerland or Germany. Many charging points are activated and billed via an app or QR code: users scan the QR code on the charging station, select the desired connector, and start the charging process. Newer stations often allow direct, contactless payment by credit or debit card, depending on the operator.
